Twenty three years have come and gone.
Twenty three seasons of broadcast fun!
All these years of smiles for sportsmen
Whether at home or out in the sun.

A program to hear with morning coffee
While waking up for the day…
With Larry Rea at the microphone
You want to hear what he has to say.

People call in from all over the place
To share some bit of news
And what they say is really good stuff…
Never a dull moment or any blues.

Informative, educational, and funny!
Some parts of the show make you laugh.
Helpful hints for the hunters
And fishing tips you don’t want to pass.

No matter the season or the temp outside
There is something to hear and enjoy.
It may be news of a fishing tournament—
The winners and prizes of both girls and boys.

So we briefly pause to gander back
And we think of the times ahead.
The show won’t stop or get sidetracked
But we’ll shoot for twenty-four instead!

think of the 23 rd Psalm which is a good one to know and
memorize. In this case, Twenty-Third refers to the 23 years
“OutdoorsWith Larry Rea” has been aired on the radio having
gained a wide following in the Mid South.)
